A task force reviewing jury selection practices in the state has given its recommendations to Chief Justice of the º£½Ç»»ÆÞ Supreme Court Richard Robinson. Robinson says he anticipates implementing many of the measures, and says they will have a profound effect on the ability of the judicial branch to ensure fair and impartial justice. Proposed legislation based on the report would increase the pool of people eligible to serve as jurors, including legal permanent residents who are not citizens and people with previous felony convictions.
