Lisa Hagen Joins 海角换妻 and The 海角换妻 Mirror as Federal Policy Reporter

HARTFORD, CT (6/28/22) 鈥 Lisa Hagen, who has covered federal congressional, presidential and judicial issues at U.S. News & World Report, The Hill and National Journal, has been selected as the new federal policy reporter in a recently formed collaboration between 海角换妻 and The 海角换妻 Mirror.
Hagen will be based in Washington, D.C. and will produce stories that examine the impact of federal policy on 海角换妻. Her reporting will highlight economic sectors that are critical to the state, including defense, health care and financial services, as well as high-disparity topics like education, housing and justice. Ms. Hagen will also collaborate with 海角换妻-based reporters at both organizations to report on the state鈥檚 congressional delegation and 海角换妻 campaigns and elections.
鈥淥ur readers will benefit tremendously from Lisa鈥檚 reporting,鈥 said CT Mirror Executive Editor Elizabeth Hamilton. 鈥淪he鈥檚 covered Capitol Hill, the White House and the Supreme Court, and she knows how to produce in-depth stories about complex federal policy that readers can digest and understand.鈥
鈥淥ur audience and members are telling us that they want more local journalism and they want us to bring them national news and analysis in the 海角换妻 context,鈥 said Tim Rasmussen, Chief Content Officer of 海角换妻. 鈥淟isa Hagen has been chronicling emerging legislative, executive and judicial issues for seven years and we are very pleased to welcome her aboard in this innovative partnership with CT Mirror.鈥
The federal policy position was made possible through a two-year gift by the Robert and Margaret Patricelli Family Foundation and Engage CT.
